The SENTINEL-M represents the next generation of live fire training systems. SENTINEL-M provides instructors and commanders with a dynamic, realistic, and effective way to train soldiers for operational deployment. The live-fire training robot leverages advanced intelligent behavior to move and act like a red force element, whilst patrolling with its advanced threat detection, seeks out blue force elements and if they are armed, engages them with its man marker rounds until they lay down their weapon.

 

For external environments GPS and IMU are used, this allows for waypoint navigation but also “path planning” which allows a path to be drawn on a map for each robot or squad to follow, permitting better use of terrain features for navigation ambush planning etc. Range officers can deploy 250+ SENTINEL-M systems to create dynamic and realistic training scenarios.

SENTINEL-M removes predictability on the range and improves shooter proficiency. Conducting IA drills under pressure and improved PID and shoot no shoot decision making.
